The Brussels blend: accessible design, to draw the city in!

Office space turns into a metropolitan magnet, boosting occupancy and neighborhood value.

We were asked to pitch a new interior design for the Botanic-building in Brussels. Instead, we proposed a neighbourhood hub with a distinct urban design, efficient flows, and welcoming hospitality. The pitch was won.

What does Nachtraven do when they are asked to come up with a new interior design for the public areas of an office tower in the heart of Brussels? We do what we’re asked. And then some! In our proposal, we approached the building as part of its location: the diverse Saint-Josse municipality in Belgium’s only metropolis. And part of its multicultural challenges too. We presented a vision for the building as a true urban hub designed to bring people together and uplift the neighbourhood.

Botanic Tower increases value for owners, investors, and ‘Brusseleirs’.

Talk about a total makeover. Together with ADR architects, we completely redesigned the building’s public areas: the reception desk became a bar, the parking lot a welcoming lounge, we gave the entrance a public function, and introduced hospitality in the building. This resulted in increased occupancy, revenue, and value for owners, investors, and ‘Brusseleirs’ alike.
